Who are we?

Hedenberg Advanced Vehicle Design

HAVD Group was founded in the fall of 1988 by Björn and Lotta Hedenberg. Ever since, the company has been kept as a family business. The focus to help the automotive industry with different type of development projects. Hence the name of the company;

Increased Focus on Design and Safety

Over the years the projects has increased and a focus on products for interior design and safety has grown. The numbers of employees slowly started to increase and in the spring of 1993 the company purchased and moved in to the real estate at Kryptongatan 7 in Mölndal, Sweden. Until this day, it still stands as the HQ.

Expantion

The business is prospering. So, in the 1998 HAVD started Novus Interior in Hungary, now HAVD Group Interior. As previous saddler, the experience and competence of tailormade products in leather is of the essence of the business as is today.

Increased Focus on Design and Safety

In 2009 the requests are widen and to broaden the offer, Scandinavia’s largest factory for polyurethan foam is now acquired. The plant in Ed, Sweden is now part of the group under the name of HAVD Group Purtech.

Another Acquisition

Right from the start, HAVD has been known for the organic knowledge, high quality products and innovative minds. Through acquaintances, in 2017 HAVD got the opportunity to assist VA Automotive in manufacturing and assembling complete seats within the automotive industry for small buses. This lead to an acquisition in the summer of 2018 and is now a part of the group.

From Prototype to Finished Product

The group as a whole has a large capacity to bring your ideas to life. Since we have production in polyurethane, vacuum forming and sewing, in conjunction with the product development, we are able to produce a wide range of products. From idea to finished product.

The combination of curiosity, progressive thinking ad experience pushes us to always be the best possible partner and put the needs of our partner firsthand. At this location we manufacture one-time items such as prototypes, as well as serial productions. We also help our partners with product development. A specialty in production at site is vacuumforming.

Ed - Havd Group Purtech AB

In Ed, we have the largest facility for molded PUR in Scandinavia. The production site is about 11,000 sqm with 5 production lines staffed by almost 100 highly qualified people. We posses a long experience in the manufacturing, and we maintain high quality products. Our competence extends from basic contstruction of single prototypes to serial production.

Nagyvázsony - HAVD Group Interior

At this location, about 140km southwest of Budapest, we are specialized in sewing and covering, mainly within the automotive-industry. Through hard work and hand-crafted products in different materials we enhance the sense of a luxury produced item. With respect of our partner’s request and our long experiance, we are able to provide well selected advisory of material and apholstery.
